The Nantahala River is home to the US Olympic Kayaking Team. Come watch our Olympic team train. Visit the Nantahala Outdoor Center, with white water rafting on the Nantahala, Ocoee, Chattooga, and Pigeon Rivers. The NOC offers instruction, youth/corporate action learning programs, mountain biking, outfitter's stores, and restaurants. The Nantahala is the most family-travelled river in the country. For the truly adventurous, try the Chattooga, or Ocoee, host to the 1996 World Cup whitewater events.
